NHM Chandigarh Lab Technician Recruitment 2026 - Apply for 16 Contractual Posts
The Office of the Mission Director, National Health Mission (NHM), U.T. Chandigarhhas released an official public notice inviting applications for the post of Lab Technician on a contractual basis. These vacancies are announced under the National Health Mission (NHM) and Integrated Public Health Laboratory (IPHL) under Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission.

Salary
As per recruitment notification selected candidates will receive a fixed consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 26,896/-.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age Limit: Up to 60 years
- Age will be calculated as per NHM Chandigarh norms
Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill one of the following essential qualifications:
- 10+2 in Science with Diploma or Certificate Course in Medical Laboratory Technology or its equivalent (full-time course)
- B.Sc in Laboratory Technology from a recognized institute (full-time course)
Selection Process
The selection process for NHM Chandigarh Lab Technician Recruitment 2026 will consist of the following components:
- Written Test: 90 Marks
- Experience: 10 Marks (only for candidates who worked during COVID-19)
Experience marks will be awarded only to candidates who worked in COVID-19 between 1 April 2020 and 31 March 2022 in GMCH-32 or GMSH-16, Chandigarh and its allied health facilities, as detailed below:
- Worked for more than 6 months: 10 Marks
- Worked for 3 months to 6 months: 05 Marks
- Worked for less than 3 months: 00 Marks
